Version 1.7
Last night I released an update to the New User Approve plugin. Many of you will be happy to hear that the main purpose of this release is to prepare for the New User Approve Option add-on plugin.
- Messages have been cleaned up a lot as far as the code goes. All of the functions that generate the messages have been moved to their own file so it is easy to modify them.
- Tags have been added to messages. This means that it will be a lot easier to modify message with hooks.
- I’m still getting complaints that the admin is not receiving the email to approve a new user. I have changed where this message is sent in the signup flow. The admin email is now sent after the user is created.
- Tested with WordPress 4.0. All went as planned.
